I am completely self taught artisan.  The idea to create the wooden models of lake basins is an original one, conceived in the depths of the 1991 Minnesota winter.  What started out as a neat gift idea, soon turned out to be a way with which to make some extra income.  By 2000, I determined I was working the wrong job full time and quit my day job to pursue my passion, working with wood.
